Akin Studios
Light branding update for my friends at Akin Studios in Hoosick Falls, NY. They already had a wordmark they liked, which I rebuilt from old bitmaps (the original vector files had been lost). They also wanted a separate logotype/icon that they could use as an alternate identifier — after seeing their space, which is in the top of the turret in the old Hoosick Falls Armory building, I decided to combine the image of the crenelated tower with the sliders of a mixing board, putting what they do in the context of the community they serve.
